Dr Jason Wenderoth undertook fellowship training in interventional neuroradiology at Royal Perth Hospital and Radcliffe Infirmary, Oxford. He established the neurointerventional services at Prince of Wales/Sydney Children’s Hospital and Liverpool Hospital in 2005.
Dr Wenderoth has supervised the training of well-established Neurointerventionists in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and the USA.
Having treated over 2000 aneurysms, and performed over 3000 major procedures, Dr Wenderoth is one of the most experienced practitioners in the field of interventional neuroradiology worldwide. His advice and expertise are regularly sought by colleagues, both in Australia and internationally. He has numerous publications in the peer-reviewed literature, several of which have introduced ground-breaking procedures and technologies to the mainstream in interventional neuroradiology.
Currently, he is a Visiting Medical Officer at Prince of Wales and Sydney Children’s, St Vincent’s Private and Liverpool Hospitals.
In May 2016, Dr Wenderoth was invited to participate in the prestigious LINNC meeting held at the Louvre in Paris every year, where hundreds of experts attend to watch cases performed live by top experts in the field, giving them the opportunity to learn from the most experienced operators in the world and discuss difficult cases with them.
Dr Wenderoth is certified to practice Interventional Neuroradiology by the CCINR.
